At LDA we recognise that the welfare of children is of paramount importance. We have a responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of all children and young people we work with and have an explicit duty to do so under the Children Act 1989 and 2004 and the Education Act 2002.

LDA is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors both online and in house. We want you to know that LDA is not in the business of selling, renting or trading your personal data with other companies, charities, arts organisations or businesses for marketing purposes.

EQUALITY

At LDA we are committed to working with staff, pupils, parents and carers to create and maintain a happy, family friendly atmosphere where all forms of bullying will not be tolerated, including when bullying is motivated by prejudice or negative attitudes towards a person’s race, religion, nationality, ethnicity, disability, gender, gender identity and sexual orientation (LGBTQ+).

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

  • We require all classes to be paid upfront & in full before the date specified by each term.
  • If classes during the term are missed due to illness, holidays or any other commitments you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • If you have paid for a one off event or holiday workshop and do not attend, you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • On the rare occasion that LDA cancels a session, all paying customers will be refunded in full or the correct credit will be added to the customers account.
  • If LDA cancel classes, we will notify everyone via email and Social Media in the morning.
  • If a mistake has taken place on your Class Manager account regarding a discount or agreed credit, please let us know and we will rectify as required.

COVID 19 POLICY

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to our street dance classes, please take time to go through this document. The information below is to help us prevent the spread of coronavirus and keep everyone safe. 

Please do not attend Luna Dance Academy if you feel unwell or have any coronavirus Covid-19 symptoms (new continuous cough, loss of smell and/or fever or high temperature), including mild symptoms – see the latest advice from NHS. 

It is the responsibility of parents to ensure that their child and household are symptom-free before sending their child to classes. Luna Dance Academy reserves the right to request for individuals to be picked up immediately if there is reason to believe they may be a health risk to others. 

Summary:

  • Please arrive dressed for class to minimise crowding in changing facilities 

Entry/Exit and Pick-up/Drop-off:

  • Class participants must wash hands / hand sanitise on entry and exit
  • 10 min Drop-off and pick-up window: Please kindly note that parents will be required to drop the children off outside in the alleyway (entrance door) no sooner than 10 minutes before the start of class. Staff will be monitoring the children during pick up and drop off times. NO adults will be allowed inside the building (unless there is an emergency)
  • Parents / guardians are requested to congregate outside in an orderly socially distanced fashion.
